The x-frame construction takes inspiration from folding stools found in ancient Egyptian tombs. By interconnecting individual x-frames, Extend can be configured as a 2-seater as well as a 50-seater. Its ability to fold makes it easy to store and transport; An ideal companion for spaces where extra seating is occasionally needed or for bringing with you. Its condensed proportions are carefully calibrated to create a warm, intimate atmosphere that encourages stillness and presence. Constructed from Swiss Douglas fir and finished with teak oil, the sauna combines durability with a tactile, natural expression. The construction draws inspiration from traditional building techniques found in Japan, emphasising precision, simplicity, and material honesty. From within, users can enjoy the enveloping heat while taking in panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and mountains through translucent wall panels, creating a seamless connection between interior and landscape. The essence of this concept is to get the real writing effect on the digital screen. And to be able to draw or write calligraphy with more precise and delicate lines on the display. Commonly placed in corners, they are given significantly less design consideration than elements such as lighting. This project proposes a modular speaker system designed specifically for an airport environment, aiming to enhance the spatial atmosphere through a carefully composed ambient soundscape. The chair is based on a minimalist design approach, emphasising clarity, restraint, and an immediately readable construction. Its structure consists of a simple steel frame paired with a single-piece, hand-woven seat and back, creating a strong contrast between industrial precision and crafted softness. This balance captures the essence of a timeless lounge chair while producing a subtle yet engaging visual tension. The raw and honest use of materials draws inspiration from Finnish design traditions, referencing the work of Yrjö Kukkapuro and Poul Kjærholm, whose modernist and forward-looking expressions continue to influence contemporary furniture design.Exhibit in Artek 2nd cycle shop.
